China Travel Trade & DMC Services

Travel Trade · China DMC evaluation

Evaluate a China DMC before you send the first live brief.

Impression Travel is a Xi’an-headquartered China destination management company (China DMC) for overseas travel companies, advisors and professional buyers. We assess, design and coordinate ground handling, FIT, private-group and multi-city journeys across China through one accountable China contact.

Our anonymized 2025 delivered Silk Road case records multi-region coordination across rail, luggage, guiding, dining, performances and specialist interpretation, supported by our Xi’an and Shaanxi operating depth.

Who we work with

Different buyers need different kinds of China support.

Long-haul travel companies

For 12–20 day and multi-city journeys where routing, transport, hotels, guides and destination handoffs need one accountable China contact.

Luxury advisors and designers

For individual clients who need careful pacing, hotel positioning, private arrangements and specialist cultural context rather than a fixed package.

Regional travel partners

For shorter combinations and deeper destination work, including Xi’an, Shaanxi, Northwest China and cultural product co-creation.

Corporate and executive planners

For company visits, incentive programmes and executive experiences that combine professional coordination with appropriate local hospitality.

China-wide DMC capability

Multi-city China, coordinated as one journey.

Being based in Xi’an does not limit the route to Xi’an. We assess the sequence between destinations, realistic travel time, seasonal conditions and the role each place should play. The working plan then brings hotels, transportation, guides, dining and experiences into one visible operating framework.

Local delivery participants may vary by destination. Impression Travel remains the accountable planning and communication contact for the partner.

Define the operating brief

What does a China DMC coordinate, and what stays with your agency?

A China destination management company connects the local parts of a journey into an operating plan: the route, accommodation, transport, guiding and destination handoffs. The brief should distinguish that local coordination from your agency’s client relationship and identify who approves the itinerary and any later changes.

For a single-destination brief, identify where our segment starts and ends, the arrival and departure arrangements handled elsewhere, and who receives the traveller at each handoff. For a multi-city brief, identify who owns the complete route, which services are already arranged, and which decisions need our coordination. This avoids gaps or duplicate arrangements between otherwise workable city programmes.

Use our Partner Resources to structure that evaluation, then send the operating brief to our China DMC team. The written proposal and agreement define the actual service scope and responsibilities; this page is not a booking confirmation.

How we work

From client brief to on-the-ground delivery.

  1. Share the traveller or client brief.
Tell us the source market, trip purpose and the decision your proposal needs to support.
  2. Clarify the operating frame.
Confirm dates, group size, traveller profile, hotel positioning and budget framework.
  3. Design the China journey.
Build the route around destination fit, practical travel time and the right level of local depth.
  4. Refine the details.
Review routing, experiences, guide requirements, assumptions and commercial choices.
  5. Confirm responsibilities.
Separate confirmed services from proposed or pending items and define the working handoff.
  6. Coordinate delivery.
Keep partner communication, local questions and changes visible during operation.

Selected client needs

We evaluate the brief before choosing the journey shape.

Private and luxury journeys

Individual pacing, hotel positioning, specialist encounters and discreet local coordination.

Multi-city China travel

Route logic and destination handoffs for longer journeys across regions with different operating conditions.

Family and cultural travel

Age-aware pacing, hands-on learning and cultural context selected for the family rather than added as decoration.

Corporate and executive programmes

Professional visits, executive experiences, incentive travel and complex local coordination where relevant.

Human and operational proof

The work is done by people, not by a destination list.

Stone, Cassie and the operating team review the brief, challenge impractical assumptions and coordinate the specialists and local services needed for delivery. Where a guide, historian, craft practitioner or other specialist is relevant, the role is assessed against language, subject knowledge, guest profile and current availability. No exclusive relationship or guaranteed access is implied.
