Terracotta Warriors VIP Access, Explained
VIP access at the Terracotta Warriors means skip-the-line entry, and your vehicle can drive close to the site’s second gate instead of dropping you at the public car park, so there is less walking and less queuing. The VIP entrance is arranged as part of a full private programme and is not offered as a standalone ticket. Impression China Journeys, a high-end destination management company founded in Xi’an in 2006, builds it into the complete private programmes we design and operate, with our own guide and vehicle. International guests need only their passport. You visit during normal opening hours alongside other visitors; it is not a private closure, a buyout of the pits or an after-hours visit. In 2026 we arranged it for corporate groups including a global professional services firm and a European consumer brand.

How it works
How it fits into your trip
- Tell us your dates and group. We plan your Xi’an programme, and VIP entry is built into the Terracotta Warriors day.
- Confirm the programme. We then ask for passport details separately; please don’t send passport numbers through our enquiry form.
- On the day, your private vehicle and guide take you to the second gate, and the rest of the day (lunch, other sites, return to your hotel) is planned around crowd levels.
Chinese public holidays are the busiest dates, so tell us your dates as early as you can.
